Where do old valves go? Here at Custom Valve we have our own way of “Re-purposing” those old valves. Our GREEN-LINE Certified reconditioned valves are valves that have been carefully reconditioned and meet all the same standards as new valves at half the price.
Our GREEN-LINE valves include Gate valves, Ball Valves, Globe Valves, Control Valves and include manufactures such as Fisher, Copes, Masonelian, Valtek and Crane. Green-Line Certified Valve Specifications - All CVR Green-Line valves shall be processed as follows;
1. Inspection
All CVR Green-Line valves shall be inspected by trained CVR Green-Line technicians.
1-1. Mechanical Integrity
All mechanical parts shall be checked for proper tolerances and integrity of operation.
1-2. Soft Parts and Elastomers
All soft parts shall be inspected and replaced with new if required.
2. Assembly and Testing
CVR Green-Line valves shall be assembled and tested by trained Green-Line technicians. Three tests shall be performed on each valve.
2-1. Shell Test Shell pressure test shall be performed on each valve to insure body assembly integrity. Shell test will be performed to applicable ANSI shell test specifications.
2-2. Assembly Operational Test
Valve assemblies shall be stroke tested to insure proper operation of the valve and operation if the valve and operator assembly. Assemblies are to be stroked through the complete operating range multiple times to insure proper operation of the assembly.
2-3. Seat Leak Test
Valve shall be leak tested using applicable ANSI, MSS or other test procedure. Leakage shall be less than manufacturers’ specified leakage.
3. Tagging
Valve shall be tagged with CVR Green-Line certified tag for identification and traceability.
4. Packaging
Valve shall be packaged properly to protect the CVR Green-Line certified valve during shipping and handling to maintain valve condition and operating integrity of the valve when installed in the process.
5. Warranty
All CVR Green-Line valves shall carry a two-year warranty.
